| Description |
The RAM-202 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Universal Plate has a 1.5 inch diameter rubber ball connected at right angles to a 2.5 inch diameter round plate. The plate has pre-drilled holes in the base plate, including the universal AMPS hole pattern. For a layout of the hole spacing and 1.5 inch rubber ball location, take a closer look with the RAM-202 Design Drawings (pdf file).
Note: This base plate will attach to any of the RAM plastic HOL holders if required, as a RAM-238 Diamond Plate is not available.

This was my third purchase of Ram Products. I already have this part but keep fining new uses ansd therefore need more parts. They are easy to use, install and maintain. Thehold well.

I tried a high tech plastic ball custom made by some machine shop. I wish I had got the original RAM piece to start with because of the rubber coating for a good grip
