The Explorist is the perfect GPS for anyone that wants a simpler to use and learn, no frills gps. You can pick it up for the first time and know how to use it correctly in 5 minutes. Its WAAS enabled, making it acurate to 7 feet, something other GPS recievers of this price DON'T have. I use it for everything, From finding the way to my usual spot on the beach, or when out on my PWC in the gulf. The compass screen is very useful when out on the water, you will always find the boat ramp. I have even used it to mark my car in the mall parking lot so i don't have to seach for it when i leave.

it rocks. I was looking at all the different models of explorists and wanted the best battery life and there-fore least options. The 100 has all the good stuff of the others but no crappy generic installed maps. I had alot of old locations I had to manually enter, but it makes the others look way over priced for the addition of features not that neccessary.
