The RAM-B-149-LO8 Lowrance XOG Series Motorcycle RAM Mount is a Marine Grade Aluminum Mount with a Stainless Steel U-Bolt Rail Base and RAM Custom Plastic Cradle. The mount is designed with a RAM 1 inch diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment point at the cradle and base. With a twist of the arm knob, you can move the Lowrance XOG Series mount to your optimum viewing position.

Lowrance GPS Mount Cradle Design:


The RAM-HOL-LO8 RAM Mount High Strength Plastic Cradle is designed to hold Lowrance Automotive GPS, including the following,
  • Lowrance XOG
All cables can stay connected to the unit while in the RAM cradle.

Lowrance GPS Mount Cradle Plate:


The RAM-B-238 Marine Grade Aluminum Diamond Plate is designed to connected to the back of the mount cradle. The diamond plate has a 1.0 inch diameter rubber ball connected at right angles to the plate, which connects directly to the 1 inch arm socket. The cradle includes the required hardware to connect the plate to the cradle. Lowrance GPS Mount Arm Design:


The RAM-B-201 RAM Mount Marine Grade Aluminum Dual Socket Arm is a 1 inch B size Ball Socket Arm with open socket ends. The arm is 3.0 inches long between socket centers and is finished with a Black Powder Coating. The side of the arm includes a tightening knob which allows you to open and close the socket ends. For a layout of the dimensions RAM-B-201 arm, take a closer look with the RAM-B-201 Design Drawings (pdf file).

Lowrance GPS Mount Base Design:


The RAM-B-231 RAM Mount Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Rail Base has a 1.0 inch diameter Rubber Ball designed to sit at right angles to the mounting rail. The Stainless Steel U-Bolt and nuts included are designed it fit on most motorcycle round handlebars, or any circular rail or pipe with diameter from 3/4 to 1.0 inch.

To mount the rail base, place the top of the base on the rail and then slide the u-bolt around the rail, into the holes in the base top. Now tighten the screws onto the u-bolt until the base is clamped firmly. If you desire, you can now slot the black rubber covers over the exposed ends of the u-bolt.

NOTE: This base is completely rust proof.

For Small Rail Mounting:

For a smaller rail, you can purchase the RAM Mount Plastic U-Bolt Adapter for circular rails with diameter down to 0.5 inches.

For Larger Rail Mounting:

For a larger rail, you can purchase the RAM Mount Stainless Steel Large Rail U-Bolt for circular rails with diameter up to 1.25 inches.

 		 EXCELLENT MOUNT

Pros: well made, very robust
Great mount. You can easily adjust it while riding just my slighlty loossing the mount. Also, when you don't ride with the GPS you can remove the most part of the mount and only the U-Bolt and a rubber ball remains on the bike. Very quick to remove and put back on the rest of the mount. Full adjustable so you can always view your GPS wherever the sun may be. The ball joints are made of hard rubber, so it never looses it's grip.

Pros: reasonable price, strong, secure and versatile.
Cons: none
This mount is quick and easy to use while offering a very secure attachment for my XOG GPS. I easily move it from motorcycle to motorcycle by simply having a RAM ball mount on each set of handle bars.

I am very pleased with this product. The cradle is ten times better than the flimsy one that comes with the GPS. I'm thinking about switching over in my car now, too.

Pros: very versatile mount.
Cons: wish it was a little longer.
Bought this for our snowmobile and so far so good! The mount holds tight, we ride hard and fast and it hasn't shaken lose.
