FOR THOSE WHO LIKE VELCRO
I got this one for my spouse who got used to velcro straps of her Forerunner 201. When she upgraded to the 205, she liked the functionality but not the watch strap. Now she has the new features and easy adjustment. The kit includes the tool for detaching the old strap and spare pins.
Pros: easy to install, comfortable

IT FITS GREAT
My old strap was eaten up critters overnight on a backpacking trip. The new strap makes it feel like I've not a new Forerunner. Fits nice an snug again. It's nice an clean too.
Pros: fit

REPLACING THE STRAP
It arrived remarkably fast, and just on the day when the original rubber(?) strap finally broke completely. Easy to install, with the little tool provided and the instructions. The strap extender is of no value to me - actually, my wrist is quite small, so a slightly smaller strap would give the velcro more overlap, but it works fine, stays on, doesn't slip when I'm running. Good product!

NOT SURE HOW I LIVED WITHOUT IT!
I have a smaller sized wrist, and never got a great fit from the strap that comes standard with the Garmin 305. It tended to slip around when it got sweaty...even on the smallest notch.
Absolutely love that I can fit my Garmin snugly to my wrist with the new velcro strap!
Pros: custom fit, easy to install, reasonable price
Cons: none!
Recommend: YES
